What to bring
Most students book calm, supervised classes in the Orlando area—we provide the gear you need for your first sessions. Requirements vary by service; your confirmation email always has the final list for your date and venue.
Need loaner gear? Tell us when you register or reply to your confirmation email. We can provide firearms and safety equipment at no extra cost for most classes when you ask in advance.
First Shots & NRA group classes
Instructor-provided firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and range fees are included. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID, closed-toe shoes, and comfortable clothing.
Florida CCW (online + range session)
Range day includes fees, ammo, and safety gear. Complete online study first, then book your private range session. Prior basic range familiarity is recommended—not your first time handling a firearm.
Test Before You Buy & private sessions
We provide range firearms to test during your session unless you prefer your own lawful firearm (tell us when you book). Bring your short list of models and valid ID.
- Valid government-issued photo ID for every range visit
- Closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
- Water and a light snack for longer sessions
- Personal firearm only when we confirm it for your booking (lawful and range-approved)
