General Disclaimer

All instruction provided by Practical Rifle Academy is intended for lawfully owned firearms operated by responsible civilians. Our courses are educational in nature and designed to teach safe, structured handgun/rifle handling, defensive techniques, and responsible ownership.

Safety Notice

All students are required to follow instructor guidance and range rules at all times. Firearms must be handled safely, stored securely, and used in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Protective equipment is required for all training exercises.

Safety & Training Standards

  • All training is conducted in strict accordance with established firearms safety protocols.
  • Students must demonstrate safe gun handling at all times.
  • Students must follow instructor commands immediately.
  • Students must maintain muzzle discipline and trigger discipline.
  • For most group classes and CCW range sessions we provide instructor firearms, ammunition, and safety gear—tell us at registration if you plan to use your own lawful equipment instead.
  • Any student who demonstrates unsafe behavior may be removed from training without refund.

Performance & Liability

Participation in our courses and workshops is voluntary. Students assume responsibility for their own actions and safety. Practical Rifle Academy, its instructors, and affiliates are not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from participation in any class or event, except where prohibited by law.

Legal Compliance

Students who attend optional build or maintenance workshops must provide lawfully acquired firearms and components. All instruction strictly adheres to applicable legal and safety standards.

Our courses focus on skill development and safe firearm handling. Students are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding firearm ownership, transport, and use. Training does not constitute legal advice.

Physical Requirements

Our courses involve standing for extended periods, moderate movement, kneeling and positional shooting, and carrying rifle equipment. Students are responsible for assessing their physical readiness prior to attendance.

Professional Conduct

Our programs emphasize discipline, measured performance, and responsible ownership. Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

Classes are limited to 4 students to ensure individualized attention and safe supervision. All workshops are instructor-led, with strict adherence to safety protocols. Our mission is to develop skill, confidence, and accountability — in a legally compliant and professional environment.
